Family Attorney

Lori obtained her JD from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004. Afterwards, she moved to Austin to work for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Cochran.

Lori’s passion for family law led her to work for the Williamson County Court as a prosecutor, where she specialized in Child Protective Services and protective order cases.

In 2018, Lori moved into private practice focusing on helping people to build their families by providing reproductive legal services. She spent three years working at Simi Denson, Attorney at Law, P.C., a practice dealing exclusively with Assisted Reproductive Technology law.

Lori is a member in good standing with the Texas Bar Association, where she was admitted in 2004 (license 24045407), and a Fellow with Academy of Adoption & Assisted Reproduction Attorneys. Lori frequently represents clients in every area of Texas and around the world out of her office in Austin, Texas.

Mother

Leading a voyage to a Galaxy far far away or just to the grocery store, Lori is a dedicated mother of 3 wonderful rebels.

Lori (she/her) and her partner, Ryan (he/him), met as freshman undergraduates at Vanderbilt University. Natively from Dallas, Lori moved to Austin after obtaining her JD from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

When not keeping her family organized, Lori loves to bake, often creating elaborate birthday cakes for her family and friends. Make sure to ask her about her Ramen Noodle birthday cake when you call to setup an appointment!
